Philly Marathon Weekend
This coming weekend is a big one for PRTC!
We have exactly 50 members slated to race either the Philadelphia Marathon, Half Marathon, or 8k. Competition promises to be strong and the weather looks friendly to fast times. We're very excited to see everyone's hard work pay off!
The marathon on Sunday promises to be especially exciting as several of our members take aim at qualifying for 2020 Olympic Trials. We're also eager to see PR's and strong races achieved in the half and 8k.
Philadelphia Marathon Weekend will mark the end of the 2018 USATF Mid-Atlantic Grand Prix Series. PRTC is positioned well to finish in the top 3, but we'll need to close out strong. Our top 15 runners (age graded/in any event) will score.
Keep an eye on slack to coordinate team support/cheering across the different races. Seeing friendly faces out on the courses can have a huge impact on results.
