Runner's World

In the news this week was Sam Roecker with a very nice feature in Runner's World. Sam is currently ranked12th in the field of 2020 Marathon Qualifiers and is, "Hot on the heels of the best distance runners in the country." Read the whole article at: "Philadelphia Nurse Nails an Olympic 'A' Qualifying Time in the Marathon"

Congrats Sam and thanks for the shoutout to the club! We think this is the first time PRTC has ever been mentioned in Runner's World. Way to go!

Race Results

Boston, MA: Dylan Gearinger returned to Boston for the classic Valentine Invite where he claimed his second club record in as many races. Dylan's 14:13.60 replaces Jay Wassell's 14:18.34 which was also set at Valentine, but in 2006. Dylan is having a fantastic indoor season and is positioned nicely to take on USA's soon.

Dylan was joined at BU by Kieran Sutton who provided pacing duties in the race as well as club newcomer Simon Vorhees. Simon returned to the track with a very respectable 15:14. This earned him 75th place in a very deep field. Great work!
